Buckle-up! Florida Road Trip heads to Tallahassee Automobile Museum

Email share

Season 9 of Florida Road Trip has continued to be our busiest season yet. The Florida Road Trip team has visited so many interesting places this season, one of those places was the Tallahassee Automobile Museum in Tallahassee.

The Tallahassee Automobile Museum (owned by Devoe Moore) is home to more than 160 automobiles, 300 boat motors, 3,000 dolls, and an assortment of electric fans and typewriters. One of the more unique automobiles displayed is Abraham Lincoln’s hearse, for which the museum outbid the Smithsonian

Devoe Moore found his love for collecting when he started his first knife collection at the age of 9. He started the museum to create a snapshot of Americana and to give children an opportunity to visit the past. The Tallahassee Automobile Museum is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
