Goosechase is a free interactive game that lets you explore Florida in a whole new way while enjoying the 2025 season of WUCF's locally produced series, Florida Road Trip! Now through November 7, embark on a wild "goosechase" to complete fun missions, snap photos, answer trivia, and discover hidden gems from Collier County to Nassau County. Earn points and compete for exciting Florida Road Trip prizes, including a bucket hat, fanny pack, travel mug, and button-up shirt.

How It Works

To complete these missions, you’ll need to:

➡️ Or stream the first four episodes of the Florida Road Trip 2025 season on the PBS App with WUCF Passport.

Each episode will hold the clues you need to soar to the top of the leaderboard! New missions are released every Thursday afternoon and winners are drawn weekly every Wednesday.

How To Join

You can join the Florida Road Trip Goosechase in three easy steps:

✅ Step 1: Get the App - If you haven't already, download the Goosechase app. Search ‘Goosechase’ on the Apple App Storeor Google Play to download.

 

✅ Step 2: Join the Experience - Once in the app, choose to play as a guest and search for the Florida Road Trip Goosechase by entering the unique join code FRT25.

 

✅ Step 3: Complete Missions - Jump in and start your adventure before the Florida Road Trip season premiere begins!

Watch Florida Road Trip Season 2025

This season’s eight featured destinations include:

  • Orlando (Sept. 18) – From Greenwood Cemetery to Little Vietnam and the Wells’BuiltHotel
  • Coral Gables (Sept. 25)Historic villages, Biltmore Hotel and the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
  • Sanford (Oct. 2) – From steamboats to a thriving historic downtown
  • Fort Myers (Oct. 9) – 2,000 years of history from the Calusa to Thomas Edison
  • University of Central Florida (Oct. 16) – A journey from space-age roots to one of the nation’s leading metropolitan research universities (premiering during UCF’s Homecoming Week)
  • Collier County (Oct. 23)Cattle towns, roadside zoos and this unique slice of Southwest Florida
  • Ocala (Oct. 30) – Horse country, Silver Springs and drag racing legends
  • Nassau County (Nov. 6) – Revolutionary war stories, Gullah Geechee heritage and the legacy of the American Beach

 

New episodes will premiere on Thursdays at 8 p.m. on WUCF-TV.  Each episode also will be released for free online viewing the following day.

WUCF Passport members, those who support the station with a donation of $5/month or $60/year, will receive early access to binge four episodes on Sept. 18, followed by the remaining four on Oct. 16. WUCF Passport is a streaming service of PBS and WUCF programs, streamed from anywhere and anytime you like.
